You know you got this Don’t lose it You know you got this You’re strong I love you These are the words that got away I love you These are the words that got away You make me feel complete Ninouki These are the words that got away I love you

Pain is driving you insane Pain, you walk in the rain Rain will fall again And will your skin To make you, feel the pain. Heavy rain. Do You remember how it feels to be real? Do you remember how it feels to be true? Don’t be scared It’s only rain All you remember is time And time is all you do
3.
Star Thief 03:48
The Sun, the king of life A noble giant with good intentions The moon, is the queen of endless night That lights the way to the right direction The fog of dreams Dreams of a fool That fell in love with his own reflection The fool’s head started growing big So he burned down his house and said “It’s all about me.” His upper lip turned in disdain, when other forms of life Were mentioned in the conversation. He stole the stars, from the queen’s crown From the night sky The royal jewels So the sun, punished the thief, the arrogant fool To eternal damnation
4.
Voyager' 06:08
I introduce myself to the vastness of space While standing on a big blue marble I perish, I am fragmented I am reshaping myself into other life forms On the blue marble Surrounded by space If I am scared? Of course I am We’re all made of stardust I am a star You are a star And we’re just floating in space Baby you better come with me Maybe you need to swim with me Among the stars Baby… We’re all made of stardust I am a star You are a star And we’re just floating in space
5.
You and Me and nobody else You give me a reason to live You put a smile on my face You and Me and nobody else All beautiful things are poisonous And love moves fast and bites deep You and Me and nobody else In my dreams you are all that I have My companion and my best friend When darkness surrounds me You keep the fire inside me burning You and Me and nobody else You give me a reason to live You put a smile on my face You and Me and nobody else
6.
Jump Dance Find the rhythm of life Don’t be shy, don’t let these moment pass Rough path Best go alone Don’t get too attached Gamble, The Dream Sometimes you lose, sometimes you win You’re Trapped in an Enchantment Spin Shine Close your eyes, and with arms at your side, turn slowly in whichever direction feels more natural Rotate Time is Undefinable Undeniable Make your life Viable Find the rhythm and dance cause this might be your last chance. This might be your last chance
7.
Real deal – free will I am starting to feel Right out of the assembly line and ready to kill Turn me left – turn me right What is wrong – what is right Teach me Heaven and Hell Define darkness and light The things I can do with my very free will Go to school Find a job Spawn a clone of my will Every need that I have is not real, it is fake But I gotta go work now cause I run kinda late Turn me on now Turn me off I am ecstatic I am automatic I kinda like it Being a toy in the attic Turn me on now Turn me off

about

“It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call…” Nexus’ new album, ‘Ninouki’.
Mike Pougounas (New Zero God) returns with his Nexus moniker and a slew of heavy-hitting music makers, the result is a 7-track gothic opera that’s as shadowy as it is twisted and deep-rooted. A journey into the unknown and only made more revealing each and every play. An unparalleled set best described as textures of Dutch Falconi, Bowie, and Peter Murphy all in one.
Highlights include the John Fryer remix “Rhythm of Life”, the vast “Star Thief” and brooding post-punk opener “The Words That Got Away”. But this album isn’t served properly by individualizing tracks, rather it’s a cohesive set that should be experienced from start to finish. It’s truly unlike anything on offer so far this discombobulated year."

GLOBAL TEXAN CHRONICLES - Walter Price

"Ninouki is a mixture of what was, what could be and what we shall become in the future. It all seems to tie into the theme of space and time, that we mere mortals are made of the same stuff of stars and return to dust…… so enjoy it while you can. Pougounas effortless flows from singing to dramatic spoken words, giving each track a nuance and capturing a moment. There are the the more rock aspects, mixed with the electronic and verbal artistry that make this new album from Nexus so easy to listen to, so 17 years have been worth the wait."

ONYX MUSIC REVIEWS - Adele Sinnamon

"The album is absolutely great as I told you before but I didn’t mention its color I think…this is a dark album mostly in all shades of dark smooth colors but in the end also quite radio-wise too as it is groovy, and a ‘fast’ record."

WHITE LIGHT / WHITE HEAT - Mike D.

"Fans of Nine Inch Nails, Mission, Black Needle Noise, and The Damned will be familiar with the vibe on offer with this group. Mike Pougounas of the world-renowned New Zero God reignited the flame of his old band when Covid prevented recording and the subsequent tour. The side-project that started it all for this scene-setting artist has a lot of juice left in the engine."

about

Nexus Athens, Greece

Mike Pougounas formed Nexus in 1998 after the split of the top Greek Gothic Rock band, The Flowers Of Romance. They released a total of four studio albums and one EP. In May of 2005 they went on hiatus and nearly a year later the three band members formed the Gothic/Post Punk band called New Zero God. Pougounas brought Nexus back to life in 2021 as his side project, releasing new material. ... more
