Mike Pougounas formed Nexus in 1998 after the split of the top Greek Gothic Rock band, The Flowers Of Romance. They released a total of four studio albums and one EP. In May of 2005 they went on hiatus and nearly a year later the three band members formed the Gothic/Post Punk band called New Zero God. Pougounas brought Nexus back to life in 2021 as his side project, releasing new material.
